General Tso’s Soy Curls
A super saucy dish that’s great with noodles, veggies or on a salad.

Soy Curl Ingredients:

coconut aminos
tamari or soy sauce

apple cider vinegar

pckg soy curls

Avocado oil

Sauce Ingredients:

coconut aminos

apple cider vinegar

veggie broth or water

toasted sesame oil

TB
coconut sugar

cornstarch

cayenne powder
Instructions
Mix tamari and vinegar in a bowl until well combined.
Add the soy curls to the bowl and let rest for 10 minutes.
Drain the soy curls and transfer to a freezer bag with the cornstarch.
Shake the bag to coat the soy curls.
Cook soy curls in a pan with oil over medium-high heat until all sides are golden brown.
Remove soy curls from the pan and set aside.
Add garlic to a pan, cook over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently until they turn golden brown.
Sauce instructions:
Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
Add the sauce to the skillet and cook until it thickens, stirring frequently.
Add the soy curls, stir and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Remove pan from heat and serve with veggies and noodles.
Optional: Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped chives.

Notes
Note: You can get the soy curls from Butler Foods. Soak the soy curls in a bowl with water for 5-10 minutes prior to cooking.
