This was my first organic, raised garden bed and compost bin. There are many benefits to having a raised bed such as: reduced back strain, better water rentention, more growing space, warmer soil earlier in the season, less soil erosion and better drainage. Raised beds warm up more quickly in the spring and drain better, allowing for a longer growing season and better growing conditions.
What we eat is central to our health. The food we eat gives our body the information and material it needs to function properly. If we don’t get the right information, our metabolic processes suffer and our health declines. It is not the effect of one nutrient that leads to health, but a person’s overall diet. A healthy diet gives your body the nutrients it needs to perform, maintain function, and fight disease.
